Dining

Carinya Aged Care provide freshly cooked meals prepared by our qualified kitchen staff in-house.  Our menu is reviewed with a qualified nutritionist to ensure our meals are well-balanced, nutritious and appetising and we are meeting all of the care standards for our residents.

Resident choice is at the forefront of Carinya Aged Care, extra care is taken to discuss any individual dietary requirements and preferences upon admission and during resident stay.  The opportunity to discuss and review meal preferences and menu changes with our residents occurs at our bimonthly meetings or as required.

Meals are served in our dining rooms, however, if residents would prefer to have a quiet meal in the privacy of their room, this can be arranged.

Additional food and beverages are available any time.

Lifestyle staff provide an order service on behalf of residents wishing to purchase extra grocery items. Korumburra IGA deliver on Thursdays.

Currently Carinya Aged Care is undergoing a Development and Refurbishment, ultimately providing three Dining areas, two serveries and a new kitchen.
